For those who have not been fortunate enough to attend a Team Titleist Invitational, a few hints. There is limit as to how many can attend.

When Lisa announces the date and time it is to be announced, BE READY TO SIGN UP. on the registration date.

When it opens up for registration, DO NO HESITATE, sign up with your credit card. The reservations go very quickly. Normally is less than thirty minutes. Hard to believe but it is very popular among our TT community members. It is a fair process and worth the expense. The expense of the event does not include transportation. There is normally a waiting list for those who do get in on the initial registration. Believe last event we had 100 in, with 50 on the waiting list (the waiting list was limited also).

I highly recommend going. I plan it in our travel budget every year. Titleist staff do an outstanding job in taking care of us, providing us with five star accommodations and courses.

So be ready when the time comes, good luck, have fun and make some new friends.

Sorry will not be able to attend this year.

My guess is Canada, Royal Montreal Golf Club prior to the Presidents Cup. Great golf courses around Quebec

Most likely not since this TT Invitational is for the USA. The TT crew in Canada does host a TT Invitational in Canada.

I was beyond excited, humbled, and honored to be invited to be one of the original members by a great TT employee, Cameron, who contacted me to be part of Team Titleist in 2010.

It was also an honor beyond belief to be invited to an exclusive TT event every year. I would have travelled anywhere in the world to be part of those amazing, once in a lifetime experiences.

Now it seems as if you have the money, you can enter any TT "Invitational."

I still have fond memories of being invited to the Grand Del Mar and Maderas in San Diego. There was a third TT event in Dallas which I travelled on a red eye and played in the rain with no sleep. I couldn't have been happier to finally meet Mike and Rick.

Unfortunately, those exclusive events are over. Money rules today. The modern TT "invitationals" have lost their luster.

I completely understand. General costs have risen over the years and multi-day events are not getting any cheaper. As I'm sure you know, another fantastic way to experience a TT event is to look for a one-day outing; they are all listed on the Events tab and I know the TT crew does their best to get these events spread out over the calendar year and in different regions of the country.

I've hosted a few of these events over the years and it's a great opportunity to meet other TT members and Titleist enthusiasts. I try and keep things under $100 for the event which includes golf and a wonderful tee prize package.

That’s a little harsh. I was at the 2 CA events and another at Pine Needles with a personal invitation. The later model playing bucket list resorts for multiple days are open to more members. Yes, they aren’t cheap but with a course limit of 80-100, the sign on op is highly competitive.
The more local events are more similar to the initial programs. I will be playing in 2 or 3 events this year. The number of players is closer to 32 which works well for 1 day programs. My end of winter is the Dale in SD, there is another in Chicago TBD, and I’m still debating KC in May. Supporting these programs is fun and the better the attendance the more likely they will continue. None of my friends that prefer other OEM vendors never tell that those companies offer similar programs. Thank you, Titleist, for the local support.

Can't wait to see where this years event is! Hopefully I will be quick enough on the draw and not in a work meeting like last year! LOL

@Lisa M - 3 weeks since the last teaser .... any news to share? Checking the site a couple of times daily ......
  16. I'm thinking Fields Ranch Plano Texas. "the new home of modern golf". Both East and West. Nothing like an easy 7800 yard track to test out everyone's "tee it high" and let if fly game.
  17. This would be cool. Was there in October and had a great time.
  18. I was afraid sign up was going to happen while I was out of town. Hope to snag a spot again this year for my group!

Hopefully, I'll be fully healed from rotator cuff surgery to be able to make it this year. Of course, when the event starts on a tax filing day it's tough for us CPAs

    Team Titleist Staff
    Hi Team Titleist,

We know there’s been a lot of anticipation for the announcement of our 2024 Team Titleist Invitational location. Rest assured, our venue has been confirmed and they are excited to welcome us in September.

I’m just as eager as you are to go live with this information, but we still have some final hoops to jump through. We’re currently undergoing updates to our payment processing platform and working to finalize these enhancements to ensure a seamless registration process. I promise, the wait will be worth it!

In the meantime, please be sure to save the date from September 15th-18th. We hope to see you there!

Are there ever events in the North East US? Right now the events are a bit too far away to make the trip.

Most all of us travel each year to different parts of the country to attend. Seeing different places is part of the appeal and the airfare is usually the cheapest part of the trip. The TTI is a package deal so even locals get to stay in the event hotel and not their own homes. These are always worth going to, no matter how far away. My recommendation would be to not wait for one to come your way but to go to as many as possible, wherever they are located.

I’m sure the folks in Acushnet MA would love to find a TT member to coordinate a local 1 day event in the NE. The invitationals have trended to 2-3 day events. So a requirement of being a resort with 2-3 quality courses limits the options of a NE invitational. Even Tobacco Road in NC is limited with no housing and the associated courses are 20 miles away.

The invitationals are at popular destinations. Which are not inexpensive. But Titleist tries to give the packages a reasonable value. As Dale says, the resort stay is part of the package. While I commuted to Whistling Strait s for the Ryder Cup, I stayed at the resort for the 2019 Invitational. The airfare is not the rate limiting step.

J; I look forward to the travel trips. Am retired (77 and try to drive) and save up for those trips. Live in SC and love those trips to NC and FL. Some awesome courses there. Flew out to Scottsdale last year. What an event. Did not attend the Ocean Course at Kiawah. I can play there for $70 (PGAHope) and it is 35 minutes from my front door. My choice. Spend a bit of time there working events. Need new adventures. Heading up to Dormie Club, a local event, seven miles from Pinehurst, next week. The courses we play are tour courses and well worth the money. My wife goes with her high school girlfriends from Memphis to the gulf coast annually. I go with my friends from TT, make new friends, play a little golf and have some fun. With Chris B., there is will be fun.
