  1. How much will temperature fluctuations affect golf ball performance?
  2. I like the AVX distance and low spin off the TSR1 driver. I just got three SM10 wedges and want high spin and green side control of the ProV1. Which ball would give me both distance and short game spin?

How do changing conditions affect your ball choice? For example, wet/soft conditions versus firm/dry conditions. Are there situations where you would want to play left dash rather than Pro v1x, in order to cut spin? I remember hearing a story about Phil Mickelson playing two different balls in a tournament (might have been a PGA championship, which doesn't follow the one ball rule.)
  4. I was playing the 2023 Pro V1 last year and switched to the Tour Speed because the 2023 Pro V1 spins too much around the green. Now that the Tour Speed is gone, I'm going to the Pro V1x Left Dash because it should spin less around the green. So the question I have for you is: I'm 59 and have a driver swing speed around 80 - 85 mph, and I'm a little weak from a two year cancer fight. Can I make the Pro V1x work for me ? I'm a 10 handicap at one of the more difficult courses in the area with very firm greens. Thanks for your help !
  5. Q: When playing at higher altitudes (5500 Ft. above sea level), what advice does Titleist give regarding ball selection. For example, the trajectory of the Pro V1 seems to be lower/flatter, but spin seems unaffected. When playing at these higher altitudes should a player move to a Pro V1x or a Pro V1x Left Dash to offset the effect of altitude on the ball's flight characteristics? Are there other considerations in ball selection when playing at higher altitudes?
  6. Why is it that you can find a ball and play 54 holes with it yet as soon as I take out one of my personalized ProV1s on the very first hole I'll lose it?
    Well that's golf.
Does body warmth or a heated vest protect a balls integrity if I switch them every other hole? It just turned fall here in Punta del Este so as temps drop I'm curious if that strategy makes sense.
  7. What is the ball flight characteristics of a ball that is spinning too much vs not enough.. I know how to see and feel greenside spin. How would I know if I would benefit from more or less driver spin?

Would the R&D staff consider the air surrounding the golf ball another layer or piece due to it's influence on ball flight and performance? Even though the characteristics are transient and change during flight. The Pro V1 could be a 3.5 piece ball.

Since the inception of ProV1 ball - can you provide information on the highest spin and distance testing for model years?
Also - What year did cover and paint change?
    Thanks,

  10. That do you believe is the best Titleist ball for a 73 y/o slower swinger who doesn't generate the speed he once did when younger.

  12. How about urethane balls for different speeds? Or a thinner isonomer cover? Tour ball really is the most difficult to develop because of different demands by week to week conditions. Go aggressive on dimple depths configurations. AI?
  13. Would love for you to discuss how side spin varies between the various type of balls in benign and high wind conditions.

Not a big concern, however I was curious what makes the new yellow Pro V’s look so bright with sort of a glitter look to them. I always felt that a different finish with other brands made the ball feel different off the face. My fellow up is will the new yellow feel or preform any differently then the white with Pro V1 or Pro V1x? Rooting for Malnati and his yellow ball in the Valspar. Titleist Ball reward: glistening yellow #1 for the win!

Being a golfer on a budget and wanting to try out some of Titleist different balls with out spending $56 for a box for one type of ball. What are the chances of having a verity pack with the higher end balls and lower cost balls?
  16. Most pro shops sell models by the sleeve. You can also try a ball fitting session either in person or via phone. They generally provide sample two ball packs of the recommended models.

“Forgiveness” is a hot word in new iron talks these days. Do you guys expect “forgiveness” to be used to define a golf ball line in the future?
Forgiveness as in when miss hit, this ball holds your line/reduces side spin, etc.?

Thank you for including us in the exciting news!
  18. Why is there difference in carry and ball speed between white and yellow ProV1 models? In testing (My Golf Spy 2023 Ball Test) the yellow ProV1 generated less ball speed and carry than white balls for high club speeds with a driver but more carry than white at a lower ball speed for mid swing speed. With a 7-iron the yellow produced more carry with a slower ball speed than white for both mid and fast club speeds.

Erisch, Great question. I never got my questions answered with the same general subject matter With Yellow Vs White. I ordered the 4/3 in yellow. So thanks for the info on swing and ball speed. I don''t swing very fast around 80 with the D. So getting yellow maybe a good thing. My question was any difference is performance? on 3/24. For me I don't think it's going to matter much if indeed the carry and ball speeds are different between the White and Yellow. I do like the glitter look of the yellow. Hopefully it pops in the sun or outside. I can't see very well...LOL
