  1. Whats your thoughts on the new 2025 Prov1 and Prov1x?

Too early to say. The prototypes are just now going out so it will take a couple of weeks to see most of the test feedback. The goal with every new release is to improve spin, feel, and to gain some distance. As long as they do not roll back the distance, I am okay with any changes.

I haven’t had the pleasure of testing them yet. I watched a YT review by Andrew Lewis Golf. Based on Andrew’s testing, there seems to be more spin separation in the ‘25 balls. IIRC, he was seeing 400+ rpm difference between the balls with the V1x spinning more from LW up to 7 iron. Driver spin was similar.
  4. Would love to test the new ones anyone have advise
  5. Don’t know but I hope I get a chance to try them out! I would really like to try the left dot!

I really liked the Left Dot… one of my favorite ball models. Hoping they bring them back out for purchase.

As of today no white box’s yet. Still hoping to get some to try out before it gets too cold here in Nebraska. Each year and new version Titleist has come out with has been great!
  9. Would love for the new models to be just a tad spinnier

Why the change? Is it to roll back the distance?

Nope. Just like the clubs, every two years they have new releases to add new technology. Over the years there have been changes in cover material, core material, layering thicknesses, and dimples that improve the performance. In the one round so far that I have played the 25Prototype Red (ProV1x) it feels much softer to me with my irons. I do not notice it on the driver or fairways but the "click" of a firm ProV1x seemed to be lessened on the irons and putter. I love that as I was a long time ProV1 player but needed the ProV1x spin. Now I have both.

Good info. Being I have been on the absentee list this summer, my current stock is at nine dozen. Maybe need to loose a few this winter. ha...ha...ha... Hope will see some of the Prov1s in the mail.

I’m really looking forward to trying the 2025 V1x. Like Dale, I played the Pro V2, but needed the extra spin so I switched to the V1x. I was hoping they played similar to the tour only V1x+ which offer lots of spin but feels softer like the Pro V1. That is the best of both worlds for me.

    Have not seen any yet
  17. I had the opportunity to use both of these balls from a friend who was sent them from titleist. With the pro v1x I could definitely feel a difference with my short game. They just felt great off my wedges and had more spin than the pro v1. For me, that spin is essential to give me confidence throughout my round because I know how the ball will react when it lands. Especially because that’s where I probably struggle the most.
  18. No white box for me to chime in with feedback. Even when a new ProV1x is released, I am sitting on 12 dozen of the current model. Between the buy 3, get 1 offer from Titleist and then a similar offer this weekend at my Club, plus about 4 dozen won in random events this summer I am pretty stocked up. It is the only ball I play and I average about 1 in play every 2 rounds, unless something bad happens. :)

Cheers everyone, love hearing all the feedback on the prototypes!

I am hoping that the Left Dot become more widely available in 2025. That is an excellent ball (spin, feel, trajectory) that I will definitely look to play going forward without question.

They will likely continue to limit availability because it does not fit the majority of golfers swings therefore would have minimal sales in a retail environment.
  21. I would be thrilled to test out some prototypes!

I found that the prototype V was about the same as the previous version flight and feel wise with a little more distance as well as more approach/short game spin. The X on the other hand felt softer off of every club. Definitely noticed that it was less "clickier" off the putter. Since I don't play the X on a regular basis, I couldn't tell you about differences in spin or flight. Don't have easy access to a launch monitor so all opinions are based on a comparison to my current Pro V1.

Still waiting...That "click" of the prov1x is what I love about it while putting. I feel it provides instant feedback on my putts

I just got finished testing between prov1 and prov1x for months with my current setup. Will do it again for the new ball coming out

I've generally played the Pro V1x, but for some reason this go around the Pro V1 intrigues me more.
