  1. Team Titleist!

As we come the end of the 2022 year, I just want to say thank you for all of your continued support and passion for Titleist.
I hope your year has been full of enjoyable moments and fond memories.

For me, I have experienced golf in a different light this past year and enjoyed every minute of it! From taking some of you up to Gleneagles with Team Titleist, to covering the launch of the new TSR, it has been a brilliant year from start to finish!

It has been great to meet some of you at events across the country and in St Ives, and of course hear from you through the forum. I look forward to seeing what 2023 brings for you all in the world of golf! I am excited for what is in the pipeline for Team Titleist as well, I have given you a taster but I can’t reveal all just yet!

    TT, over to you...

    • What has stood out for you most in 2022, in the world of Titleist?

As well as looking back, take a minute to look forward as well.

    • Let me know what your goals are for the coming year, and what you are most looking forward to in 2023!

Once again, thank you for a fantastic 2022.

  2. Hi Will,
Several things for me that have stood out in 2022 are driving once again at The Genesis Scottish Open (The Renaissance) and also working at The 150th Open (St. Andrews), where I was able to meet and talk with some of the World's greatest players, plus Radar (Wayne Riley from Sky Golf)!!! I had the privilege of coming down to meet with yourself and Tim for a tour of Titleist HQ at St. Ives at the start of December and also the fitting for a new TSR Driver/Fairway Wood while I was down with Paul.
My handicap has dropped from 13 to 10 during the 2022 season as well and hopefully with a new TSR2 3 Wood on order, I'll be able to achieve that illustrious goal of becoming a single figure handicap golfer in 2023 - only taken about 14 years!!! I plan to play in a few more Open's during the 2023 season and have everything crossed that I'll be successful in securing a spot for the Team Titleist event at St. Andrews in July!!! As usual watching the majors is a big thing with the Masters in April and the rest thereafter and then we have the Ryder Cup in September in Italy, which hopefully this time Team Europe will win?
Other than that, it's nearly a wrap for 2022 and can't wait for the 2023 season and all that it will bring with Team Titleist.
All the best to you and the team for New Year and hopefully see you again in 2023.
    Slainte!
  3. Sounds like you had a great year Gary, and have a busy one planned for next! Fingers crossed on the handicap, you will have to let me know how it goes and if you reach your goal.

    Happy New Year!
  4. Thanks Will

My highlight from Titleist was the Woburn performance centre TSR launch just a shame I hurt my rotator cuff the day after!

Looking forward to getting a 3 wood and hybrid in 2023.

I'm hoping I can get a place of some other TT events this year. Never really used this forum as always used the FB page!
  5. Woburn definitely is a special place!

Keep your eye out for TT events, should be a cracking year for them.
  6. Hi Will,

It's been a hell of a year for golf, and as we hit the end of the year with 2023 just round the corner it's a great time to reflect.

For me, watching my second hole in one drop during summer was definitely the highlight but equally, the 150th Open at St Andrews also sits high on my 2022 highlights.

What an atmosphere, what an event !

2023 brings opportunity to strengthen my game and I'm going to focus on that. I've switched clubs to help me improve as the course offers a lot more than my previous club

    Bring on summer 2023 !!!!!!

I hope you have a fantastic 2023 and Happy New Year when it comes !

Will, can’t thank you and the team enough for this last year, finally got to tick off two golfing goals in the same event. Play in a TT event, play Gleneagles. Not to mention the TSR fitting, what an experience to have, and also get a closer look on what our Tour hero’s get day to day.
Bring on 2023 where I hope I’ll be ticking off another bucket list course.
Thank you all and Happy New Year.
  9. Great to see you at Gleneagles! I wonder what bucket list courses TT will be visiting this year?!

    Evening Will.

Unfortunately 2022 wasn’t my best year for golf. Just a lot going on with family and work.

What I will say is that TT kept me engaged in Golf and kept the hunger going.

Enjoyed reading the forum and reading people stories.

My only real highlights were playing Close House and being grateful for the promo balls though the post.

I’ve promised myself next year (2023) my plan is to work harder and get my self back to single figures.

Look forward to hopefully meeting you in 2023 Will.

    Happy new year TT fans.
  11. Hopefully 2023 brings success on the course this year! You will have to keep us updated on the handicap! I am sure we will see you at events this year!

Equipment aside, was lucky to be invited down to Woburn TPC (what a place!) , St Ives Fitting Centre & Titleist HQ a month or so ago. Fantastic experience start to finish over the two days. Great to see behind the scenes.

On the Equipment side, SM9s started the bag upgrade earlier in the year…added TSR3 driver as soon as I saw them in the build workshop. Look good, no nonsense and just work. New irons on the way and change of ball planned for next year…ProV1 Left Dash maybe replace my ProV1 but just need to get hold of a few as they can be difficult to source. Fantastic new year folks.
  13. Sounds like a productive year Bruce! Same again for 2023!

2022 got back to walking as my back has eased off. Index ballooned to a 13 and ended at 10.3! Gaming T200's have helped as well as reverting back to my TSi1 driver. Looking for a better 2023 however as age is creeping in shots are shorter and shorter! Have a great 2023, all fairways and greens to all TTers!!!
  15. As long as those shots are straight and true, I am sure 2023 will be a great year!

    Thanks Will,

Been a tough year with injuries and some family highs and lows, but ending well.

Love reading peoples experiences and have been fortunate to get some fellow Titleist enthusiasts in the forum to help with advice etc.

Highlights would be playing Streaming Blue and Red on a Florida trip with my eldest son, getting my TSR2 driver and 4 wood, and making great strides with my swing through lessons with my coach Mark Sparrow (great guy, player and coach).

Looking forward I'm hoping to join one of the TT events, play a new course and try to get my handicap down to around 5 (currently 8).

Thanks again for all you do,
    Tony
  19. Sounds like a great trip to the States! You will have to keep us all updated on the handicap!
  20. TT

Looking back over 2022 saw a great golfing year for me. It started when I got the chance to play RSG on my 50th and the gods were with is that day as the wind went and the skies were clear. Two weeks after that I treated myself to a Phantom X5.5 and what a change that made to my game. Then I went away in May with friends to Celtic manor for 3 days and again some great golf played. Later that month I made the decision to move golf clubs away from the one I had been a member of for 38 years. I was finding it hard to enjoy the game there anymore and have been really happy since joining my new club. Then in July I knew my T100 irons weren’t doing what they should so I went to St Ives for a fitting and changed irons to the T100s and then went up to X100 flex, something I wasn’t expecting at the age of 50. I have yet to change to the TSR’s as still love bombing my TSi4 and cant bring myself to move away from my TS3 fairway. I was gutted to have missed the TT days due to holidays and work commitments and looks like I’ll be missing the St Andrews trip as well due to a holiday booked last July for this year with friends during that week. So I do hope there may be another opportunity at another point this year.

So looking forward to 2023 sees my main aim to practise more and cut my handicap from 4 to maybe 2. Another aim to play more opens in the South as well this year. but the biggest goal is to keep enjoying the game as much as I am now.
  21. What an incredible 2022, hopefully 2023 can top it! And like you mentioned, enjoyment is the main factor here. Have a great year.

Thanks Will, really looking forward to a TT event this year and meeting some new fellow TTers.

In 2022, gear wise what stood out for me was the quality of the driver and the Vokey wedges. I also bought the Tour Series Stadry cart bag which is and am currently gaming the ‘22 Phantom 7.5 which is a beauty.

Goals are for the coming year are to raise my floor, become a happier, more grateful golfer and a more consistent ball striker. Also to stay relatively injury free as ‘22 has been tough!
Would love to end the year off Scratch.

Can’t wait to see more about the TT St Andrews trip.
  23. Keep us updated on the handicap Sean! I am excited for St Andrews as well!

Hopefully lower my score. Sitting at 20.9. Would love to get down to 18.

This year a my Scotty Cameron putter has been a great bonus.

Had a great fitting event at Galgorm with Titleist. Hopefully they will be back.

Best course this year has been Royal Portrush.

    Hi Will,

2022 has been a year with more added memories, from meeting more of the TT team and members at Gleneagles and getting my 2nd hole in one.
The TSR3 Driver and fairway has been a game changer and looking forward to a full season with them.
It was great seeing Matt Fitzpatrick win his first major at The US Open at the The Country Club.

Target this year is to sort my chipping out as it’s costing me a few shots I haven’t got.

All the best for 2023 TT
  28. Great to see you up at Gleneagles, Gary! Have a great 2023.

    Hello Will,

Unfortunately 2022 was a very poor season for me due to injuries again.
The highlights was definitely going back several times to Craigielaw Titleist Scotland and getting fitted for TSR2 driver, 3 wood and 5 wood along with new irons and sm9 wedges, and Scotty Cameron putter
Not sure the bank balance would agree haha

2023 season I hoping to stay injury free, practice more, play more and try to get back to single figures
Also looking to attend a TT event if dates work in with my time off from work.

I hope everyone has an amazing season and plays there best golf ever! ️‍♂️
  30. Sounds like it is time to dial in the game ready for the 2023 season! Have a good one.
  31. My highlights were caddying for Mr Vokey (UK) Will Harvey for a few comps and watching him win plenty, also fortunate enough to have him help me get down to my lowest handicap ever (1.5).
Look forward to more of the same in the new year.
Think I may also treat myself to a trip to Woburn when the new irons come out.
Happy golfing to all my fellow TT followers

Happy New Year everyone!! Here's to a great 2023 :)

The Titleist highlight for me was definitely the TSR2. Went in to a fitting expecting to stay with the 3 but the TSR2 blew me away. Incredible bit of kit and can hardly wait to a proper season under my belt with it. Titleist aside, it was pretty cool to play in my first event in which WAGR points were available (I didn't claim any but felt it an achievement just to play in it) and then getting to spend three days at The Open.

Goal for this season is to finally get to scratch - hovered close to it in the past but this year, is going to be the year!

    All the best everyone.
  33. It seems like a lot of TT are aiming for scratch which is great to see! Good luck, keep us updated!

The TSR2 is a great gamer! It has definitely surprised a lot of people.

My highlight this year was treating myself to a set of Titleist CNCPT Irons. They are so good and feel so nice. They have improved my overall game because of the confidence they give you. Extra length, closer dispersion. Having a full fitting and getting advice and help up at Craigielaw was great and I would recommend full fittings for every golfer who is wanting to improve their game. Unfortunately I missed both chances of getting together with TT last year on their get togethers, but hopeful for St Andrews.
  35. Hi Will,

    Happy New year

I played in a TT event at Ganton a couple of years ago had a great time fab course and company would love to play more events with Team Titleist always great memories

    All the Best to everyone

    Hi Will

First of all hope you had a great holiday and a happier New Year.
The big thing for me was the improvement in the TSR over the TSI. I didn’t expect so see the gains in ball speed but it was impressive.
I also have to be thankful for changing my wedges and got the SM9s dialled in which really seen my scores drop and I’m down to a 2 handicap.
I’m hoping to push for scratch this year and with some good pray and more work on my swing I hope to be close.
  37. Happy to heat that you have had some positive improvements, no doubt it will start to show on the course as the year progresses.

Let us know how you go on your road to scratch, good luck!
