    Hello Team Titleist!

     

    I just wanted to take a moment to reach out and introduce myself to everyone on here. I'm Will, recently joined the Titleist team. I’ll be working within the marketing department, whilst also keeping you TT members updated on what we have got going on.

     

    A small snippet about me; I have played my fair share of golf at Market Rasen in Lincolnshire (great course, go play there if you get the chance) and was involved in some County Golf as well. I am now a member at St Ives and with my handicap down to 3.6 (using the trusted Pro V1) with the aim of scratch by the end of summer.

     

    I look forward to interacting with you all in the coming months and hearing how your year is going. It would be great to hear from you guys. Ask any questions you have but for starters, let me know what you are looking forward to in 2022.

    Thanks for dropping a message on the group page.

    This year i’m looking forward to getting my handicap down from 10 to possibly 8 thats the goal. Lots of hard work and lots of practice with my trusted Titleist products.

    Also hoping all the Team Titleist members can maybe get together this year! Its been far to long and sure the others in the group will agree.

    Hi Will, great to hear from a new member of the team. I wish you well in the new role.

    I’m looking forward to the lighter evenings and some after work golf, I’d really like to get down to 6 this year.
    I’ve got some great days out planned already and have some ideas for a few others with friends but like others here, I’m sure if you guys found a way to host some Invitational events of one description or another I’m sure you’d get a huge take up.

    Looking forward to hearing more from you and the rest of the team in ‘22.

    I’m looking forward to getting involved in some Titleist run events this year. Would be great to know what plans there are for any get togethers or competitions during the season.

    Work by your predecessors!!!

    My main objective is to okay more and be more consistent this year. I’m heading up to play the Brabazon in May just after the British Masters so need to firing by then at least!!

    Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us on the forum moving forward and again good luck with wherever you take us

    Welcome - 3.6 to scratch by end of summer is very ambitious so all the best with it. I’ll be content to lower my 8.8 and below 8 would be my stretch target.

    Hopefully you can help promote some TT days and all the very best in your new role.

    Trust me if the travel wasn’t too much I was 100% interesting in the maintenance engineer job they were just advertising but hey you never know down the line!

    Welcome on board Will, I’m sure you’ll really enjoy the role.
    For 2022, I’m just looking forward to getting back on a course. Prior to lockdowns, my arthritis had become too painful and I’d had to stop playing. Then new medication eased things, but meant I had to shield.
    I’ve started hitting balls on the range and am just waiting for better weather to arrive…
    I’m also looking forward to caddying for my son and seeing him win again! Last June he won his first PGA event, which made all the years of effort worth it…
