  1. I had a Ball fitting at The Titleist stand at Bunkered live and can say its one of the best things I have had customised ever. I was using Pro V 1's however my spin rate and trajectory was improved when swapped to the new AVX's. The Titelist UK lads had Trackmaster which analysed my swing patterns and proved AVX's were better for my game than pro V 1's... Thanks guys, a superb job !

I have never had a ball fitting - I will certainly try to have one if there is one available near me! Your fitting sounds like it has given excellent results so good luck with the AVX!

It’s all part of the overall picture. If you’ve been fitted for clubs you’ll know the difference that can make. The ball is no different, after all you use it for every shot!
All of my fittings have been carried out using my preferred ball, which has changed from Pro V1 to V1X.

Not sure if this happens or not? Do Titleist fit you for a ball while going though the club fitting process?

That would make a lot of sense, fit the ball to your wedges, irons and putter and then adjust the driver to to the ball.
However, us average hacks get fitted mostly with range balls outside.
I am not sure that fitting with "good balls" into a net off an artificial surface helps much either.
Unless you are going "top end" to Titleist themselves for a fitting everything is a little compromised.

Hopefully fitting will return to most areas this year I had one 2020 at Cirencester and it’s on the range hitting various balls that titleist have then with the trackman data you are fitted. There’s a case for cheaper balls in the winter or maybe mixing the premium balls to suit the course but generally the best ball is the one for 365 days a year.
Quick update unless you get in early at bunkered the fitting was very busy and availability wasn’t great due to space and time 15/20 mins a fitting.
