    Having got used to my T200’s I’m considering changing my old ( non Titleist) wedges - appreciate I may need different lofts and bounce to gap my “new” irons. I have never had a wedge fitting so expect / hope to benefit from bring fit. Will go for a fitting at St Ives but wondered if the current autumn / winter ground conditions impact on fitting ( my course is normally firm). Not bothered about waiting for new SM9’s more getting the best outcome from a fitting- would you go now or leave it until spring?

    I’d get them as soon as you can. They ask about the divots you take and the shots you like to play when advising on grinds, plus the St Ives is a pretty free draining course I think and the ground around the practice green was pretty hard when I was fitted.

    I’ve decided to go for it - wedge fitting booked early December, hopefully gives enough time to get ordered and get some practice in before main 2022 season starts. Looking forward to seeing what bounce and grind can do

    Fitting with Paul @ St Ives went well last week- I’ve gone ahead and ordered 3 vokeys. If they manage to avoid delays my custom fit clubs are due mid January - looking forward to this & bag will then be, for the first time, all Titleist ( hopefully see some handicap improvements in 2022!)

    Happy days buddy!
    A couple of practice sessions you’ll have them dialed in, in no time at all and your handicap will tumble
