While I cannot comment on Sueno Deluxe, I have been to Istanbul in October. Was there for a week and the weather was a crap shoot. One day in shorts and sweating, the other days bundled in multiple layers. I believe it would be close to the same parallel as New York (perhaps just a bit lower).

I played Carya, Montgomery and the Nick Faldo 27 hole course 2 years ago in October. Excellent condition on all 3 courses. Carya and Montgomery are PGA European tournament courses each year. The hotels next to the golf clubs are also first class.

There are so many hotels, around the courses. We have been going regularly to Belek for the past 8 years and played most of the courses including Carya, Montgomery, Titanic, Sueno, Kaya Palazzo, Gloria, Antalya, Lykia Links, Faldo and the National.

All these courses are very playable, some obviously more challenging than others and some where you can walk others where you really need a buggy. (Lykia Links)

Hotels like Sueno, Kaya Palazzo and Gloria all offer discounts on there courses.

We haven't been in December but have been in November and February, and have had great times but sometimes you may need a jumper especially during the mornings, if playing early.

One Tip, Take plenty of balls with you as golf equipment is not cheap.

Forgot to mention try bilyana, they do fantastic deals, you have to get your own flights but very good and arrange everything for you and they are very reasonable
