Make the trip out to Mesquite and play Wolf Creek. Have done it a couple times now and views/holes are incredible.

I have only done one, the TPC Las Vegas. It was okay, not really that impressive or what i would have expected from a TPC course. Think i will try somewhere else next time.

I really enjoyed Piaute, but it's not anywhere near the strip. We played the Wolf course and it was no joke. They have a couple of really great tracks, and I go back in a heartbeat.

I played Desert Pines and Bali Hai year ago, and honestly would pass on those again. I remember Desert Pines being in a sketchy neighborhood and being in poor shape. Bali Hai was better, but not worth the money just for views of the casinos you can see from everywhere.

Paiute was a typical Dye course and loved it.
Bali Hai is the closest on the strip, beside the Wynn, if that's still open.
Dragon Ridge (private) is very nice. And Henderson has plenty of nice tracks.
If the budget allows it.....

Shadow Creek is by far the stunner out there!

Rio Secco is very nice, although I have not played it since the renovations, Paiute has 3 great courses. Revere has 2 courses , oh! Reflection Bay also great.. to many to name .

I've played a handful of courses in, and around Las Vegas. The golf was cheaper than my poor gambling skills! I would have to say my favorite has been The Paiute Golf Course. It is in the middle of no where, but not too far from the strip. They have three 18 hole courses, I've played 2 of them and both were great. I can't wait to go back.
Play well, and hit 'em straight!

Paiute, Wolf Creek, Angel Park (Mountain course), Bali Hai would be my first on the list. Aside from those there are a ton of nice courses out there!

Just got back from there. Played Reflection Bay, It was fun and in good shape. Paiute is really good, and if you can swing it Shadow Creek is amazing!

I've The Legacy and if you don't mind paying a little more, Badlands is a lot if fun. Stallion Mountain also a nice course and less expensive.

Among the recommendations mentioned above that I've played and would play again, I'd agree with the Las Vegas Paiute courses (3), yes, the top course is Wolf course, followed by Snow Mountain, then sun Mountain. All of them are good courses.

Every year we take a trip to Vegas for golf. Played a number of courses three favourite are; Coyote Springs ( 45 minutes east of Vegas); Bears Best or Las Vegas Country Club. Coyote Springs and Bears Best are Nickalus courses and very good. Las Vegas Country Club old style course that held the Las Vegas Open back a number years ago and excellent rack and always in excellent shape.

Played a few of them. Cascata is absolutely great, but Shadow Creek is the bomb. Playing there again in November.

Just came back from Vegas... played Paiute (Snow Course), Wolf Creek, and Stallion Mountain. Stallion is a great course for the money. Paiute is beautiful all around. Wolf Creek is worth the experience alone.

I would highly recommend the 45 minute drive to coyote springs. It’s by far one of the best kept secrets in the Vegas area. I would Drive a bit further north and play wolf creek in mesquite as well.

Thanks for all the recommendations. We ended up playing Bali Hai on this trip. Really enjoyed it. Great views of the strip. Would recommend for anyone looking to play a round in close proximity to all the hotels on the strip...

Last year we played Las Vegas Country Club a very good and fun track to play, Bears Best was Awesome and Coyote Springs about 45 minutes east of Vegas is another Nickalus course that is and excellent and testing track.

Has anyone played Wynn Golf Club since it was remodeled and opened back up? How is it?


Has anyone played TPC Summerlin? I'm pretty sure I can get a reciprocal there from my club.

Good question.. I was debating that or another trip out to Shadow Creek... Wynn is up to like $535!

It is but that includes caddie fee correct? Have you played at Summerlin? I heard Shadow Creek was going to take another big jump sometime this year or next, may have to opt for it instead before that happens.

Yes, it includes caddie..... No on Summerlin. SC still looks to be 500 and if thats true, Ill play SC all day, the limo ride was and added bonus. I wouldn't mind making the drive to Wolf Creek, hear its golf on another planet!
