Our friends at TPI recently shared one of the most interesting case studies you're likely to see – Korn Ferry Tour player, Christo Lamprecht (Pro V1). Not only is Christo the tallest player (at 6'8" tall) that Dr. Greg Rose has ever worked with, but the South African possesses a very unique swing that creates remarkable power. At first glance his "caddie dip" move might look odd, but the way he uses the ground results in a nearly ideal kinematic sequence that allows Christo to generate incredible speed (with driver, Christo's ball speed tops out at around 208 mph!)

Power is clearly Christo's super-power, but he visited TPI searching for solutions to some troubling misses with his irons and wedges. As you'll see in the video above, you need to use the ground for power in golf, but you also need to use your legs properly to create stability through impact, an important nuance that helped Christo shore up his entire approach game.
