My plan is to play a few more rounds this year but my main focus will be on shortgame training where I have most to gain in shots gained.

I got back into golf about a year ago after missing out almost 15 years. I would love to play every week but that is not a realistic goal for me. My family comes first, then golf. Realistically I can play once a month as our family ALWAYS has something going on. I have two kids and 5 grandsons so they keep me and my wife very busy. I’m going out today if weather permits. We had a pretty good thunderstorm push through here last night. Cost is also a factor. A golf outing for me is typically about $50-75 every time I go play. To play 52 rounds or more of golf every year is crazy. I don’t see how people find the time to play that much but I am envious of those who can.

Yes sir, same amount of golf but I wont be surprised if I get more this year than other years prior.
My regular schedule is Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
I don’t normally play more than a round on those days anymore, but I can always be talked into another round after.
Other than my regular golf schedules me and my guys would visit other courses on other days. On top of it all, the occasional away times with my family are most always includes golf.
I guess Im just saying that my golf schedule are always full but it doesn’t mean I won’t shuffle a time for an exciting opportunity. :-)
  6. I'm planning on playing more. My son (15) has just discovered golf and is trying out for his High School team this month so we have been playing quite a bit. It's been great spending time with him. I Just joined TT with a new set of T300's, TSR2 Woods and Vokey wedges. I guess I jumped off the deep end.
  7. Logged about 100 rounds this year and about 25 of those being tournament rounds, I plan on playing more this year! The most I’ve played since right after I graduated high school.

Definitely on the push for more rounds, rain or shine. Between being fit by a Titleist fitter, new clubs, range/net time and increasing my physical health the past 8 months I am seeing some of my best golf in the past 30 years.

Played little to no golf in 2023. Moving to Arizona it should have been the opposite. But new job and acclimating to new surroundings was a different experience. Plus had my clubs stolen, so starting from scratch. So gonna make lemonade out of lemons (and add vodka). New sticks when budget allows and moving forward.
2024 will be a new opportunity to get the game back in shape.

    Always more. More Always
  12. Retired late 2023. Already playing some winter golf albeit temp tees and greens. Will absolutely play more 2024. Can't wait for better weather and start using my new T100 and retire the Titleist MB's.

I am hoping to play more this year than I did last year. I have two boys, ages 7 and 4, who both like to come out with me on the course. So even if it is three, four or five holes with them, trying to get some extra on course practice in addition to rounds is my goal.

Absolutely! I have probably played a combined 8 rounds in the last 5 years... went from playing 40+ rounds a year to a university kid who was lucky to play once or twice a year while visiting family. Now that times have changed and I'm no longer I'm full time classes I plan on playing atleast once a week as soon as the snow melts! Fortunately I have a week in palm springs coming up to get me going.

I think I have talked my son into giving golf a try this year so hopefully we will be on the course a lot.

I can only hope to be able to play more golf this year!!!
Walking a golf course is like therapy to me.
Playing better makes for better therapy.
Little bit of work needed on the playing better part.....
  17. Retiring in 2024. Planning to make the golf course my second home this year.

Very excited to start the 2024 season. My son has taken a shine to the game so I see this as an opportunity to spend more quality time together. As my family and I reside in the frozen north the season is short and the courses book up fast. Wishing everyone the best this year!
