The stage is set. The prep work is done. And Team Titleist is ready to make history at the 77th U.S. Women’s Open.

The 4th U.S. Women’s Open to be played at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, NC (The most of any venue!) features a strong roster of past champions, newcomers and players ready to break through – many of which will put their trust in Titleist equipment on the par-71 Donald Ross layout.

In the field for Team Titleist this week are the top-3 world ranked players – Pro V1 loyalist Jin Young Ko (1), Brand Ambassador Nelly Korda (2) and Pro V1x loyalist Lydia Ko (3) - alongside other notables in the field including 2x 2022 LPGA Tour champion Danielle Kang, 2011 USWO Champion So Yeon Ryu, Augusta National Women’s Amateur Champion Anna Davis, and more.

Follow along on this thread to catch up on all that’s been happening on the ground this week in Southern Pines and go inside the ropes as Team Titleist prepares for a week in the Sandhills.

We kicked off the week following both Nelly and Jessica Korda, who will be making their 7th and 14th U.S. Women’s Open starts.

Notable switches in the bags of both Korda sisters this week is the addition of a Vokey Design WedgeWorks T Grind lob wedge, ideal for the firm conditions that players will find this week at Pine Needles.

Also with a T Grind in the bag is 2011 Champion and Brand Ambassador So Yeon Ryu – who, along with her new lob wedge, made a significant change to her setup heading into this week at Pine Needles.

After working with Titleist Tour Rep JJ Van Wezenbeeck at the Titleist Performance Institute last month, So Yeon made the move from T100 to T100·S. JJ has the scoop on why, as well as the difference between the two models:

Making her first Major start after winning the Augusta National Women’s Amateur this spring - as well as two LPGA starts where she made both cuts - Anna Davis joins the field with a bag full of Titleist equipment.

Anna joined us earlier this year at a Titleist commercial shoot to meet our LPGA Ambassadors, give us the scoop on why she plays Pro V1 and the story behind her 620 MB irons that she has had in the bag since she was 12. Yes, you read that right….12!

Wishing the best of luck to all of Team Titleist this week as they look to make history at Pine Needles!

What a great place to host the Women's Open. My first experience with Team Titleist many years ago which was a one day event. Love to see one of the Korda sisters hoisting that trophy on Sunday. Having worked LPGA tour events, I love watching them play. Their swings are so sweet. Effortless. Thanks for the great info. One additional note, Jessica just signed with FootJoy, first female Ambassador.

Great venue for a Women's US Open. I had the opportunity to play the course last year and watching these professionals tackle some of those difficult holes, really gives you an appreciation on how skilled they are.
