On the eve of what would be Masters Week, I would normally be full of anticipation for 2020’s first Major. I live across the Savannah River from Augusta in SC and this is typically one of our busiest weekends. We host our biggest tournament of the year and then open up to public play for the patrons coming to the area from around the world. The picture below is the bustling first tee this morning ... just me on a beautiful spring morning! The course just couldn’t be better.
But, instead of being full of anticipation for the week ahead, I am full of ... THANKS and GRATITUDE. Thanks for continued health that my family and I continue to experience and gratitude for the multitude of first responders, doctors, nurses, etc. that are battling everyday in the face of unprecedented challenges. If we get a Fall Masters, great. If we don’t, life will go on and there will be brighter days ahead. In the meantime, stay well and appreciate everyday.
