Due to shattering my elbow. Over the last few years I’ve switched with different club manufacturers and even switched from Titleist. But hopefully now I’ve got my head screwed on right and just ordered a complete set up of Titleist equipment. My new set up is TS2, 10.5* driver, Tensei Blue/ Regular. TS2 18* Fairway, T300 4-W2, AMC Red/Regular/ standard. SM7 Chrome 58* D grind/ Kuro Kage. Scotty Cameron Phantom X 7, 33.5”, ProV1X and Titleist 2019 Player 4 Stand Bag. Ready to get a few rounds in before winter hits, which I live in the South so we don’t have harsh winters. Now, just need a Team Titleist bag tag to complete it all!!! Hope to becoming very active on the discussion board also. Just glad to be back Team Titleist!!!

Titleist irons, woods, and hybrid. Vokey wedges. Scotty Cameron putter. Titleist mid-size Staff Bag. Everything has remained constant since I got fitted at the Oceanside Performance Center in December 2013. Only updated my wedges because I wore them out. May be due an upgrade next spring.......a 65th birthday present to myself.

Welcome back! I have the exact same driver. I love it!
  10. Jeremy,
Nice to see you've sorted yourself out!!
I'm all-Titleist/Vokey/Scotty and have been for years.
I'll have an aberration now and again and try out some weird putter or a miracle wedge until I snap out of the hypnotic state of PR-induced curiosity and realise that I already have the best equipment in my bag....

Nice to have you back on the team.....
  12. Glad to see you've overcome your injury and back to doing what you love. Congrats on the gear, it sounds like you've put some time into it.

For me, I'm just keeping my eye out for a Scotty that screams me and I'm set.

  15. Jeremy,
I just broke my left elbow in 4 places at the proximal ulna. Had surgery 3 weeks ago and things starting to feel a bit better. I am a right handed golfer and a bit worried that it was my leading arm that broke. After reading your post i was wondering what your timeline was like to get back to playing w no worries or pain of your arm.

besides sticking to rehab and being careful not to push things, what was your recovery like?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Honestly, I think you have the correct answer. Did not break anything but had back surgery, because walking became a major issue. Could only walk about fifty yards with stopping due to severe pain. Ruined many vacations for my beloved. Took me almost a year of rehab and following the Doctor's and physiotherapist instructions to a tee. After surgery went to a physical therapist and was not happy with the results and became very discouraged, until my primary care physician redirected me to a physiotherapist which provided my hands on therapy. Even went thru dry needling. Felt additional pain after the surgery and went to see another neurosurgeon and they gave me good news that I did not need additional surgery and that is as only arthritis which would slow me down in my activities but the pain could be somewhat subdued thru medication. I had the initial surgery in February 2020 and was released from my PT to hitting balls in early December and playing in mid December. After a long layoff it is like walking again, baby steps. I love walking on the course, but in talking to my doctor's they told me just take a cart and enjoy the game, because the pain of the arthritis in the lower back and hips is not worth it. I guess at 74+ and still being able to get out a play is a good thing. I took it upon myself to walk 18 earlier this month and that was the worst pain I had experienced in years. Will take my doctors advice from here on out. Guess I had something to prove it to myself. Point being, listen to the plan your doctor has for you and do not deviate. At my age, we can be stubborn and want to do it our way, but by listening I am able to continue to play, not like I use to, but can play and still enjoy the game. Wishing you the very best in your recovery. My game is coming around and I shot a 82 last Wednesday and had a hole in one on the 25th. All is well in the Wonderful World of Golf. Time is on your side and use it wisely. With respect. =)
