  1. When putting what is your preferred sound and feel?

I'm really liking a satisfying click at the moment. Easier to get familiar with how the click should sound when making the right stroke.

The sound I prefer is that rattle in the bottom of the cup kind of a soothing rattle with deep tones.....Lol

As for off the putter face, to be honest I don't pay attention to the sound, but I like a soft feel.
If it feels firm usually I hit a thin blade putt and it's short which is not good.

It's a 2018 squareback. With different weights in the bottom so it kinda looks like the older models I guess.

I play the Pro V1X... I do like the feel off full swings with the Pro V1, but prefer the feel/sound of the V1X on pitches, chips and putts.

To me, the sound is totally irrelevent, though I didn't like the ringing sound of the original png putters many years ago.

I am more concerned with the feel off the face and whether the ball tends to roll the distance I think it should for the effort I've put into the stroke.

Obviously, if I found a magic putter that automatically made everything, my tastes and desires would all go out the window... ;-) If you know about one... Please send me a link!

I like it quiet and soft that way when it isn't that I know it was a miss hit.

I definitely like the click sound at contact. For me it provides feedback on sqaure hits as opposed to those toed or heeled.

The only sound that I'm listening for is the ball hitting the bottom of the cup.

Sound makes no difference to me when putting, it is all about feel. Can almost tell you where it is going by the feel off the face of the putter. The only click I want to hear when putting is the sound of the ball hitting the bottom of the cup.

i'd have to agree with Chuck Z, for me it's all about feel and follow through, but i've got a big putting arc

A muffled sound suited me...I play older scotty's like the studio design 1 and circa 62 that have refinished and sound soft.

No click. The click doesn’t feel as good.

The click sounds too "clicky"...does that make any sense?

Rattle of the ball in the bottom of the cup,
can’t say I hear much when the ball leaves the putter.

If I hear that click I know I hit it just right. But I love the rattle at the end!
