Arnold Palmer devalued his signature by signing it often. The TT bag tags are now much easier to come by, and TT golf balls can now be ordered through MyTitleist. Hopefully this will decrease the incentive to turn reward swag to cash.

I am in total agreement with you on that matter. I enter the sweepstakes and haven't been fortunate enough to win anything yet.

But I can also suppose it is a free market and some people will do anything to make a dollar.

Sadly I saw someone a few days ago trying to get $45 for a team Titleist bag tag. They are super nice but not that nice.

This is a problem that has been going on for years and has been discussed by TT members for years and will continue to go on for years. Some folks will do anything for a buck and have no respect for the brand. Titleist cannot control people's "greed", because they are a minority. But it is good to know they we can make them uncomfortable on this sight, but doubt if we do......

Im sure TT monitors Ebay and the like sites and "take notes" on those who are selling items.. But, its been going on for years!

Tony, I'm with you on this subject. I keep seeing Team Titleist items on eBay and have thought more than once of buying an item just to call out who is selling them here on the the Team Titleist forum. What really upsets me is I posted a similar post to this with a pic of an auction item on ebay on the TT Facebook Page and the post was deleted and never approved.

this year they offered the TT bag tag with the loyalty ball order so they are not hardcore TT guys like us.

Its a shame we are a community and some people just don't get the passion that we have.

I remember Titleist's promotion that our Club was lucky enough to be part of, when they distributed special Folds of Honor bags, that were to be raffled or auctioned off to raise money for the Folds of Honor foundation. Many of us bought more and more tickets, not only to support the cause, and because it was a really great bag, but to try to knock out the couple of knuckleheads we knew, who if they had won it, would have put it on Ebay before sundown. Thankfully they never did win it.

I've seen those too and was thinking how much better it is to be able to say I got the TT bag tag, hat or coffee mug because of something I wrote in the Discussions forums. That it's great to come across other TT members in my travels, knowing that we both appreciate the care that Titleist/Footjoy take in designing, manufacturing and selling the best golf equipment. Buying TT gear on line may be the equivalent of cheating on a scorecard, yeah, you may get what you want, but you know what you did to get it. Not something to be proud of. Titleist mails you TT gear, you've earned it and some clown going on the internet buying a TT bag tag doesn't change that.

I have to agree with most of the comments above. I myself have been fortunate enough to have a couple of TT items as well as a few TT prov1's. I have and use these with pride and simply ignore the rest as to me it doesn't matter to me where they got the items, as long as they have pride in them.

I'm still not understanding why we don't have a Swag Shop so that the members can buy TT items.
