422 drive with new TS model driver

    Was watching the US Open yesterday to see how Justin Thomas did with the new TS model driver and he was crushing it and on the 18th hole bombed one 422 yards even Joe Buck was asking if that was right and it was so I'm sold lol

    Can't wait to hear more. In the meantime, I wish my local courses would keep the fairways hard so I can add some roll onto my carry.

    Hi Don,

    I'll always vote for fast running fairways, too. But the problem with that is my opponent gets to use the same fairway :-)

    ...and I also can't wait to hear more about the TS drivers.

    I may have to check into these new drivers once they are released. the 917's didn't work well for me during my fitting when they came out so we stayed with my 915D2. But something is telling me these could work for me. I think I go on the update list???

    Cannot wait to give it a try and compare it against my 917D on the trackman. Want to see what the spin and carry comparisons are. If the carry is at least ten more yards, I am sold. My spin is around 2400 with my 917D set at 11.25 loft. My Titleist fitter did a good job on my last fitting, as he always does.

    Kevin Na or his caddie indicated that with his new driver, par 5's in 2 are now in reach. On one eagled par 5 this weekend he had a 356 yard drive. To paraphrase Rob Reiner's mom from "When Harry met Sally" - I'll have whatever he's having.

    That would be a Cally GBB Epic...Kevin's using a real mixed bag now days, seems to be a trend on tour.
