I'm a bit giddy at the current standing of Steve Stricker after 2 days of the US Open - one back and a really solid round today.  I have been rooting for Steve to win a major for several years now - while I always dreamed it would be the Masters, a win this week would be amazing!!!  I've read a little on how this course was "shorter" than other US Open tracks, it still takes length, accuracy, patience and focus - and it sounds just like Steve Stricker to me!!

It was so wonderful that www.usopen.com had all day coverage and especially all 18-holes of Steve's group.  

I'm going to be rooting like crazy tomorrow and Sunday!
