I was stood on the 15th tee at Prestatyn Golf Club which is a 335 par 4 and hit a monster drive down the middle. The weather was scorching hot, the fairways were rock hard and the wind was behind so my ball kept rolling and rolling down to the green and the 2 guys I was playing with said "That won't be far away" So, we reached the green and couldn't find my ball so I said I'd go back to the tee to play a provisional while they looked for the ball. I teed off and walked down with the group behind and when we reached the green, my playing partners said they couldn't find my ball so we let the group play through. They putted out and as one of the guys went to get his ball from the hole he looked at me and asked what ball I was playing, I replied "a Titleist Pro V1 with 3 blue dots" and he laughed and said "It's in the hole mate" I looked at my playing partners and they said, "we didn't think of looking in the hole" I was absolutely over the moon as this is now my 6th hole-in-one and 2nd on a par 4 so I reckon I'm the luckiest golfer on the planet as they've all been in competitions and witnessed. This latest hole-in-one got me into the exclusive Hugo Boss Hole-In-One Club and a cracking watch to show for it too.
