  1. This is exciting news for me. I know they are not for everyone but I love my mini driver. Can’t wait to replace the Taylor Made with a Titleist. Especially with the fitting process Titleist offers. I wonder if they will offer loft options?

Serious question, what distance are you using the mini driver at? I ask, because I like them and think they are a great concept, but I don't even carry a 3 wood anymore because I can hit a 5 wood much farther than I feel I should. I have been using the Taylor Stealth 5 wood, but will be switching to the GT2 Driver/Woods next summer.
  3. Way call it a Mini Driver?
In my opinion it’s a Brassie. (#2 wood)
  4. I also looking forward for the release of the GT280 mini driver. I tried both the cally and TM clubs. I hit them very well. So happy Titleist coming out with a mini driver.
  5. I'm the same boat as you, with the TM version in the bag.
While I really enjoy that club, for me, nothing has worked as well for me until these GT heads came along,
so if there is any gains to be had in distance / dispersion, I'm making the jump!

What’s the advantage to a mini driver? I have never used one nor really looked into one. Curious your thoughts on advantages and disadvantages or having one in my bad. Also what club are you taking out?

I'm excited about the new GT280 too! From what I've been told it will only be offered in 13 degrees. I would like at have an 11.5 degree option but I'm sure I'll be perfectly content with the 13.

I previously had a mini driver from a different company and really liked it. I’m going to invest in one of these new as my 3 wood is my preferred tool of the tee so will see if this can help me get more distance with the same accuracy. Glad you’re liking yours, may it bring you more birdies sir
  10. I have the TM brnr and it's been a very good club for me as a fairway finder with tight dispersion, but I would not hesitate to replace it with the new GT280 once I am fitted for it. Very glad Titleist is offering a new mini driver.

Similar head size to the classic 975D, but with newer technology and no longer a steel shaft? Yes, please. With the Titleist adapter, the 13.5 loft should be able to be reduced to just over 12 degrees. Having played golf for 3+ decades, I remember playing with drivers with smaller heads. I'll be looking forward to adding one to the bag whenever Titleist decides to make these available to the public. (golf clap)

After being fitted for an 8-degree GT4, I’m really
excited to test the mini driver. My current setup I’m gaming a cally 17-degree UW with a 235-240 carry. The UW is one of my favorite clubs because I use it in various situations and is my go-to club when I need to hit my fairway but would love some extra yardage. Interesting enough, new GT1 hybrid looks very similar to the UW but with more adjustability. I'm hoping I can get an extra 15 yards carry and similar dispersion as my UW
