I was about to pull the trigger and buy a U505 2 iron, stock Hzrdus Black 80 HY shaft in stiff, in a reputable and well known golf shop here in the UK, when the store manager basically stopped me and said that they have had a load of issues with that shaft in that head, with it snapping. He basically told me not to buy it!

Is this a thing that anyone else has heard of or experienced? The shaft felt great and it’s the only non premium one you can try over here, so any other shaft would be a punt in the dark.
