  1. Hello. I have a set of T100 irons 6 iron to gap wedge which I get on well with. The irons have Project X LZ 6.0 120g shafts. When I bought the irons my path was shallow and from the inside so rather than a 5 iron I used a hybrid. After some lessons my path is now much better and I am thinking of putting a 5 iron in the bag. My 6 iron gives me a 175 to 180 carry and I would like something that has a strong ball flight carrying around 195 to 200. I have a few questions that I would value peoples opinions on. Question 1, should I go for a T100 5 iron or a T200. Question 2, should I go for a slightly softer shaft in the 5 iron like the Project X LZ 5.5 115g, particularly if I go for the T200 (not sure I can generate enough of an increase in club speed between the 6 iron and 5 iron to get the ball launching).

Launch data from your 7 iron to your 6 iron can predict better than us guessing if the T100 5 iron will work, and if you need a different shaft. A good fitter will also recommend a 5 iron, be it a T100, T150, or T200 based on the data from your current irons.
