    Hi guys,

Before ordering my new irons and wedges I wanted to understand what the swing weight will come in at with +1/4 inch added across the board.

Specs below: 2021 T100 - DG x100 Tour Issue (+1/4) with GP BCT Cord Ribbed

SM8 - DG s400 Tour Issue (+1/4) with GP BCT Cord Ribbed

Not sure if Titleist build to a standard swing weight regardless of specs of whether you can request a certain swing weight?

    Cheers, Andrew

I was told they build to their standard swing weight, but if you request different they will accommodate you.

When you are fitted for clubs that are shorter than standard, is the swing weight adjusted to compensate for the lost shaft weight? (assuming the clubs are ordered directly from Titleist). I’ve read that 1/2” reduction only amounts to 6g so not sure if you would even notice.

If Titleist does the short build, they will try to achieve the stock swing weight. If you request a swing weight as part of the order, they will meet it or let you how close they can get.
I can’t tell, but there are others that can feel the difference. The half inch would impact me more than the sw. .

If you get them from Titleist they adjust the swing weight for whatever shaft you get.

Titleist will adjust swing weight for under/over length only if you specify when ordering- they have no way of knowing intention other wise - always best to specify the swing weight you desire- if they can't meet it with the specs of your order they will advise before building. The 1/4 length adjustment you indicated will increase swing weight 3 points and a 1 gram reduction in head weight and 5 grams addition in the grip will each reduce the swing weight 1 point.

    Thanks Joseph!

Do you know what the standard T100 swing weight is? I assume D2 or D3.

I’m looking for D3 myself and have requested the same.

    Cheers,
    Andrew

Not sure on the standard swing weight (I assume D2 for their stock shaft), however, as have ordered with a specified swing weight Titleist will make the necessary adjustments based on length, shaft and grip ordered.

    Actually + 1/4” would inc 1.5 SW points. 1/2”=3SW

    Kurt, thanks for the correction.
  11. Any idea if Titleist lists what the stock swing weights are for each club head/shaft configuration they offer? I was fit into the T1100S + Project X LZ 6.0 (standard length) with a D5 swing weight. When I go to order a custom set, I do not see a spot to request a specific swing weight (or see what the stock swing weight will be).

Titleist would have a target swing weight for the stock shaft for each head, but, they don't specify it anywhere that I see, however, I am sure the desired swing weight can be specified. If it isn't specified you will get the swing weight that results from the specific shaft ordered- swing weight will vary not just based on the shaft model ordered but will also vary by flex- the heavier the shaft the higher swing weight.
