Time for new clubs

  1. Hello,

I've been playing with my old clubs for @6 or 7 years now and it's time for a technology refresh. I am planning to get fitted for every club, driver to putter and all points in between. However, my wallet will dictate that I cannot replace them all at once. So, if I break my bag down to:

    1. Driver, 2. Fairway wood(s), 3. Hybrid(s), 4. Irons, 5. Wedges, 6 Putter

Does Titleist have any recommendations on a batting order for replacing the whole bag? FYI, I am quite certain that I'm using the wrong putter for me as I've tried putter fitting systems from two different manufacturers and both have my stroke identified as a strong arc while my current putter is fits a straight back stroke (oops!). I'm a big hitter and only use my driver on long par 4's (425+) & par 5's. Otherwise I tee of with 3w and 2h or 5w depending on the course I'm playing.

Everybody's thoughts and ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi Dan,

I would start at the green and work your way back to the tee. Most shots are played on or around the green so get your putter and wedges first, then irons and then up to the driver.

    Hope this helps,

    Chris S
