  1. Well, this is the first year in the last 5 that I did not get a game in during December. Last game was November 11. Very disappointing. Merry Christmas everyone.

  2. Played Pine Knot January 2. Course was completely dry. Used my new H22. 27 putts, 2 birdies

There were some Halifax courses open as well over the past few days - alas nothing here in Ottawa.

I found an outdoor driving range that is open. A long as there is no snow on the ground, he opens up.
He usually the first to open in early spring and last to close.

Always great to sneak up to Pine Knot for round when all is closed. Its a treat for winter Die hards.
  10. We are very lucky here on the West Coast. Apart from maybe 2-3 weeks due to snow, most courses have been open. Some drain better than others so you have to know which ones to play. It's unbelievable that some courses are still charging $70-$80 during this time of the year.

    Bragg Creek,

My last round was in October. I'll be heading to Van Isle at some point this winter and then to Ontario in May. That'll be all my winter golf this year.
