First of all - Congratulations to Patrick Cantlay on another HUGE win ! This has to be a great marketing opportunity for Titleist when a Titleist player wins two in a row in the FedEx Cup Playoffs :) The mixed emotions came from the fact that although I was rooting for Cantlay, I really would not have been disappointed if Rahm won it by coming from behind. John Rahm is a great player who has come back from a variety of issues this year and I would not have been upset if either one of them won. What would have made it more exciting was if one of the "villains" like Reed was close to taking the win with Cantlay holding him off with strokes being exchanged between them right up to the 18th hole. To get the excitement you need a hero and a villain. However, we had two nice guys fighting for the win :)

I have no problem with two nice guys battling it out to the end. Makes it even better when you can feel good for whichever walks away victorious. I just love the drama when it's close and both players hit quality shots. I am not too fond of a blow-out win or a win when the leader falls apart on the back nine and someone else backs into the win. These last two tournaments were pretty special to watch. Setting up for a fun Ryder Cup in a few weeks.
