I have a quality Titleist Golf Bag and noticed that my graphite shafts on all my irons are starting to show wear on the outer coating. At first I was thinking it was only my driver shaft, but I see all my irons are starting to show some wear. These are relatively new AP3's so it is not like it is years and years of wear and tear. I do realize that carrying, or having the clubs in a push cart tends to speedup the wear process due to the constant rubbing. I am thinking of adding some additional padding on the top edges of the bag. Has anyone done that already ? If so - what materials did you decide on, and did it work ? It seems the rougher nylon that is standard for the bag is just a little rough on graphite shafts.
