On the 5th of September, 16 Team Titleist members visited Woodhall Spa to take part in the first Team Titleist Women’s VIP Day. We made full use of the top-class facilities at the England Golf Performance Centre before putting their golf to the test around the challenging Bracken Course in the afternoon.

Morning
After gathering in the main clubhouse and receiving their exclusive TT goodie bags, our Team Titleist members ventured down to the extensive practice facilities to begin their morning of testing and education. With the late summer sun adding to the experience, they enjoyed a ball-fitting and club-fitting experience where Titleist product specialists provided education and testing, allowing the attendees to learn more about the products most suited to their swing.

In idyllic conditions and out on the specialist short game area, there were also treated to a short game clinic from former LET player and host for the day, Sophie Walker. 

Afternoon
After a light lunch and a chance to rehydrate out of the sun, everyone had the opportunity to test out the latest putters from Scotty Cameron. Then it was time to test their new short game skills on The Bracken Course. With the sun past its peak, all groups headed out onto the course, with Sophie taking time with each group for some on-course coaching. She has also bought her clubs along to show us all how it is done. 

The day was rounded off back in the clubhouse with dinner and a raffle, after which, some bid farewell whilst others hung around to re-live the days events. 

Thank you to all the Team Titleist members that attended. A brilliant day for all involved with an engaging and positive group of golfers. This was our first women’s event. It won’t be our last.
